But YES. Sho and Shibata Rie and that scene I just cracked up. I tried to explain to Ed why that was just so funny but it's something you have to see to believe. The look on Sho's face is just. I love him. I love them. And the fact that Mimura is rich and doesn't have to do this makes it even better for me. He gets so determined. (And then he goes running. Hi. Thank you for loving me, Japan.)
Nino DOES make a terrible girl. I'm convinced that Sho carries that episode around in his heart and takes it out on days when he wants to murder Nino.
The first thing I ever saw Nino in--aside from odd episodes of this and that (because I was just getting into the fandom) was 'Letters from Iwo Jima'. I really think I lucked out when I finally followed Meg's trail to this fandom. There are plenty of shows, subs, and I came in without knowing that Nino was the devil.
Plus, there are awesome people everywhere! I am LUCKY.
