Kagami gets Tendou. He really does. It's why he's not surprised by the picture-postcard Christmas transformation that the Tendou household undergoes. He shoots a look at Juka only to find her already leveling a stare at him.

Well, okay, Kagami decides. All right.

Kagami brings his gifts for Juka, Hiyori, and Tendou over and they're all wrapped in newspaper with bows folded out of the funny pages. "I'm a poor college student," he tells Tendou at Tendou's tasking look. The gifts go under the picture-worthy tree with its collection of picture-worthy presents.

So Kagami feels free to bring over red and green construction paper and make garland chains with Juka. "Come and join us," he says to Tendou.

Tendou's chains are perfect and perfectly edged in glitter. Kagami slaps some paste around on his just to make up for it.

"Kagami," says Tendou.

"Ryou and I used to do this every year when were kids," Kagami says and nails Tendou with a stare of his own.

The garland goes on the tree.

Kagami goes for broke and invites his boss and Renge and Kazama and Yuriko and Misaki and Tadokoro and his brother over to have a Christmas beer and some gourmet Christmas cake that Tendou spends two days baking into perfection. Things get a little rowdy and by the time the little party breaks up the Tendou household doesn't look anything like a picture.

"Kagami," says Tendou.

"I know," says Kagami.

And together they share a smile before Kagami goes to get the broom and the rags and the appropriate cleaners.

November third is 'Culture Day'. I was tempted to write 'Tendou weirds Kagami out with sexual kinks from other countries. *goes to hell*
