What don't you like about this?! This was adorable and sweet and snarky and fun. You're so good at the voice of a story, if that makes sense -- you make the fussy, old fashioned fairy tale language, the repetitive structure, work for you -- you don't just follow the rules, you make them make the story funnier.
ladfkjh I wanted to print this story out and mark it up with pink sparkly pen to show you how almost every word of it is completely delightful, so ... I did. Kind of.
And it's frustrating, because without shrinking the text to the point of illegibility, I can't circle all the things I love, the splash-tink of the coin rhyming with the splash-plink of Nino, Sho wanting just one tiny person to love forever, and being so brave in the forest. Nino being perfect because he can dance on the cheese wheel. The entire parenthetical section. "You can't keep Aiba if you haven't found a job." I love that Nino wasn't even Sho's wish! "Oh, it's been nine months, hasn't it?" HAPPY.

font loves circe's story: a visual representation.
