Talking to people about this but:

I would totally put a banner on my fics if I could write chaptered fics. Or if I could make graphics. I would slap banners on every AU I ever wrote. I wouldn't post them to COMMS, mind you, and I might even put them under the lj cut... but I would be on that like frosting on a cake.

I'm STILL on cloud nine because of my new icons.

(Ps. Possibly there will be fic tomorrow.)

If it's on your own comm (and actually adds something? sets a tone?), I don't mind. But it just reeks of desperation and poor writing to me. :< I've never seen one that has made me want to read it. But a tasteful image when you get to the actual fic would be just lovely.

I could probably make decent banners! I'm just always too focused on the actual fic to remember "Oh, I could do something!"

THOUGH. LOL. I did make manips for that Doctor Who crossover I was doing and never finished. O____O

Strangely, I found myself thinking about this a few days ago and came to the same conclusion, lol. I understand why ficbanners have such a bad reputation, but, but, but... pretty pictures!

I volunteer to make a banner in paint for each and every fic you've ever written. My specially is mashing Evangelion macros together with beer pictures, but I bet I can squeeze Leader's ass in there if I try hard enough. LET ME KNOW IF INTERESTED.
