I dropped my laptop by accident and now he is retarded. I hope Ed can fix him. For now, I am borrowing his computer. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, GOOD THINGS.
Meme from the flist (namely
honeypuffed and
gimmick_game): * Anyone who looks at this entry has to post this meme and their current wallpaper on their LiveJournal.
* Explain in five sentences why you're using that wallpaper!
* Don't change your wallpaper before doing this! The point is to see what you had on!
My wallpaper! *swoons* It was a present from
tangiblewhimsy and I LOVE HER, OKAY? With spazzing and hearts and stuff.

Now make it desktop sized (which Aya DID, because she is too good to me) and add the icons from my previous desktop and you'd have my desktop from before Taiyou had his brain injury. I knew I should have named him Mycroft.
Also! Also!
honooko wrote me fic! It is glorious. It is a beautiful, beautiful Sho/Ohno/Nino fic. It's so al;sdkjfl;skjdf HI, I LOVE YOU. It makes me a little speechless with pure joy.
AND!
je_fqfest started posting the fics today! The one written for ME was already posted. It's Ohmiya. It's Letters From Iwo Jima Ohmiya. I am so happy. It's masturbation and memories and porn and it is lovely. But I do recommend checking out the entire fest. It is going to be EPIC. Also: It's porn.
je_ficgames is going to start posting soon, so be on the look out for that!
Finally: New Arashi album. I have the rip. I'm really loving it so far. It's kinda a new direction for them, though. More dance and Euro-beat than concert-hype-up. I like it, though. Oh, Junface. Nino, make the jazz hands and I'll be happy. Aiba, wtf? :D :D :D Oh-chan, ♥ as always. Sho! T-A-B-Oh,Oh is right.

Date: 2010-08-02 05:34 am (UTC)Their little house is gold with a blue shingled roof and one room. It has the world's tiniest refridgerator and a hotplate and box for groceries instead of a cupboard. It only has electricty when they turn the generator on. The generator is in a little shed (weathered grey wood) along with the stuff they leave behind--like fishing poles and...well, fishing poles.
It is the most impractical house on the planet.
But there are three steps down to the hot-sand beach (or three steps up to the cut-crystal-knobbed door) and it is the most perfect house that Ohno has ever built.
He and Nino don't spend much time in it.
Ohno fished in his little boat or off the dock and Nino slept in the soft sand and grass at base of the palm trees. There are sixteen trees on their little island and four of them are on the beach that cradled their little house. The dock, and Ohno's little motorboat, were the only ways to get to their house. Nino got seasick but always felt better after he laid out their futon and went for a nap in the sun-dappled shade.
"Hey, Nino," said Ohno.
The sand shifted and a moment later. "Oh-chan?" Nino's voice was sleepy and indistinct.
Ohno reeled in his line and stood up, the dock creaking under his feet, sturdy and well built but tiny all the same. The sand shifted and it took three steps to reach Nino's side. Ohno reached a hand down to him. "Let's go home," he said.
And Nino didn't look at the dock or the ocean or the island in the distance that had the airport that would bring them back to Tokyo and Arashi and their apartments.
Nino looked up the beach at the house with its stairs. "Okay."
Maybe one day they'd retire to their tiny island, where Jun was the absentee King. Maybe one day they'd show the others their perfect house. Maybe one day they'd build a guest house in green and red and purple.
Maybe one day wasn't as important as Nino's hand in his and the stairs that went up (and down) and the question of what to have for dinner that night.
