Yay for making a transexual person happy! ^-^ And yes, an accidental kindness sometimes means a great deal to another person - I remember a fellow asexual talking about how happy she was because her gynecologist said "if you have sexual relationships" instead of "when you have...". It was probably quite accidental on his part, but just the fact that he acknowledged that she might never have sex, instead of just assuming that everyone's interested in "doing it" at some point in their lives, totally made her day. ^-^

Aww, Tarou and Mimura! They're still adorable! I have to agree with the first comment - somehow this totally feels like feudal era AU! In my case it's probably because of the abacus, though. I know they're still used in school's today, but the word "abacus" immediately makes me think of a wise man in former times (and in an Arabian country, for some very weird reason...).
I like the "feeling" of this story - I could sense the warmth and quietness surrounding them, only broken my the scratchings of their pencils and the clicking of the abacus. ^-^

(Also, hi! If this comment doesn't make sense, it's because I've got a bad cold at the moment and can't concentrate all that well. ^^")
