I think Voice is going to be a little like Arashi for me. Sure, I have my preferences. But there are also going to be days where I just want to throw them all at each other!
Rihito in the rain: I keep thinking that, well, I really like Kento and he obviously really likes Mei! And it'd probably suck to watch his older brother get the girl he likes. B-but. If Rihito ends up alone, I think that might truly crush me. And then, of course, there's what Mei wants and I'm not sure she's really even thinking about romance. (But it's also... I would be really surprised if it ended with anything other than Rihito/Mei, given that this was based off a shoujo manga.)
YTM: Those kids would literally be better off without her there, the ONLY thing she brings them is that they won't get split up into foster care. Other than that? She is a complete drain on them. If she at least made an effort! If she at least had Tarou manage the money SOMEWHERE AWAY FROM WHERE SHE COULD GET AT IT, if she at least tried to cook or tried to sew while sitting in bed! SOMETHING. Sometimes characters have flaws, I get that. But her kids couldn't even COMPLAIN about it, because then mommy starts crying and you have to comfort her! asl;dkfjaslkj rage.
Also, the dad creeps me out because HIS EYES ARE EMPTY. HE WANTS TO EAT MY SOUL. D: D: D:
But. *deep breath* You could tell Shibata Rie was having so much fun in that role, especially every time she got to invade Sho's personal space and... I love Sho, I really do. But there was not a lot of acting on his part. He got to look scared at Shibata Rie! He got to give ridiculously fond looks to Nino! This... was probably not hard for him. XD
But I still really liked their characters. I know it's cliche, the poor kid who befriends the rich kid, but money doesn't matter, so he refuses help, despite that the rich kid would totally give him money, but that's why they're friends, because it's not about the money. But I still love it anyway. I love that Tarou wants to do things on his own (even if kind of makes me sad to think about how he probably got that way *glances at his upbringing*) and that's why Mimura is so interested in him.
....also, I love Sho/Nino (and Sho/Nino makeouts!) a lot. Because they are serious the best gay for each other BFFs just about ever.
