Real-life update

My mom had another series of 'mini-strokes' and is back in hospital. She's all right, according to my sister (who mostly just wanted to know if I was going to be bringing the kids out for Easter), it's mostly in the interest of watching her for more strokes while they sort out medications and the like.
Oddly enough, it made me decide to give the stripper pole another day and try to make it WORK rather than throwing it out in the unsatisfactory state it is in. I'm going to hack out the bits I like and put them in another document and see if the problem is that I'm not cutting out the things I should because I like the particular line or scene.
"He's got a point, Nino," Aiba pointed out reasonably. "You'd make it look like you were waiting for a bus."
"Thanks," Nino grumbled.
"A really skanky bus," Aiba went on.
Nino gave Aiba a black look. "That's so kind of you."
"Full of greasy, trampy people."
"Aiba."
"That smell bad."
"Aiba."
"And make you want to wash just looking at them."
"Masaki."
"Untrustworthy people."
Nino whipped around and looked at Sho. "I rescind my vote. Show off your reasearch."
"Nino!"
"Thank you," Sho said graciously.
So that's the news here. My mom is fine, but sort of not. I'm using it to make myself work harder instead of slacking off. Also, I have to do some laundry and I've got Toma no Monogatari stuck in my head.
