I cut my sandwiches in the shape of dinosaurs! It also takes the crust off, which I find to be super-cute. (And it does totally taste better cute.)
Things are awkward. Between him and Sho and between him and Jun and between Sho and Jun. Thing are also kind of strained between Nino and Jun and between Jun and Ohno, too. The only place where things are still totally comfortable is between Ohno and Nino, so Aiba wedges himself in to the bare inches in that spot on the couch.
"Ouch," says Ohno peacefully.
"Spaz," says Nino, distracted still by his DS.
"I can't fix things," Aiba says to neither of them in particular.
Nino's shoulders hunch up around his ears and then lower slowly. He doesn't look up from his game. "For Sho, just forgetting about it is best. He really—" but he doesn't finish.
"Sho-chan just really envies Aiba-chan," Ohno says in his distractedly-focused way. "So just keep on being our Aiba-chan and that's better."
Aiba's not sure how he can forget Sho's earnest face and faltering words. "How do I fix things with Mattsun?" he asks quietly. He can't forget Jun's words, either, and the way they made his heart curl up inside his chest. Neither Ohno nor Nino say anything for a long time and at last Aiba speaks again. "I guess I just have to wait for him, huh?"
He knows that's the only answer by the way Nino's arm sneaks around his waist and settles in to hold on to him in the silence.
