this is really, really fantastic, and very ohmiya-feeling. i don't think i've ever read something set during this era, but this feels very true to all of them. gosh, i just. holding hands! holding hands while doing distinctly DON'T HOLD HANDS FOR THIS activities! being super cute about it in way that felt like my reaction of heart-eyes was impossible to resist. plus, the sex was very appropriately hot and heart-clenchy and funny. i suspect i will be rereading this quite often. ♥ ♥ ♥
