I can't really see why you're not happy with it. I am:) From the beginning my heart kind of contracted because of Jun and all the things he couldn't handle all at once. But he did once say in an interview (if I remember correctly, that is) that he likes to immerse himself in a water, like in a bathtub, and then everything, all sounds seem different. It came to me when I was reading your fic - the way he seeks Ohno's company and the effect it has on him - it's like he sinks in the space of Ohno's existence and let's everything wash over him. For the moment the whole world is muted, but he's healed. ♥
