On my to-do list: Finally leave comments on all those fics I keep meaning to leave comments on. I am woefully behind. Orz

But! On the bright side! My furnace is fixed, I didn't have to cook for the second Saftey Patrol dinner (because I had the stomach flu!), and I marathoned Ryuusei no Kizuna. I have to say...I don't think I would have been as moved or surprised by things if I hadn't watched it over the course of two days.

...okay, I probably still would have cried my way through a good chunk of episode ten anyhow. Edward was very good to put up with me watching it on the couch beside him while he played video games.


Me: *crying* They're killing Nino!

Him: *looks over* Huh?

Me: EMOTIONALLY.

Him: ...you know, I still haven't seen the end of Maou! We could watch that! That'll make you feel better!

Me: *wracking sob*

So, on the whole, good times!

In other news: If Sho really IS going to be in New York (at ComicCon) on February 6th I will CRY. One: It probably means Yatterman is going to be in a theater somewhere near and, therefore, there exists the possibility of seeing it on the big screen. Two: I could, possibly, actually make it to New York. Three: Guess whose husband has to be in St. Louis on the sixth of February. *flails* GIVE ME SAKURAI SHO.

Finally: There are certain comms on my watch list that are run by total and complete bitches. I hate them a lot!

Ahaha, oh god, it would be SO AWESOME if you could go see Sho. I have a friend who has guy friends trekking down to the con and I'm trying to not-so-subtly sway them into going to that panel.

I'm definitely writing for fivesomeaday, but I haven't given in on the Ohmiya one yet. ;____; But I love how they well they know you. :D :D :D :D :D

My husband is sometimes very awesome. (He doesn't even care that I gave away part of the ending of Maou just by crying harder!)

RnK--Nino just ripped my heart out. It's been a while since I watched Letters from Iwo Jima and I guess I forgot how beautifully he can play a scene like that. I'm glad the director went for a bit of an understated thing--it works so much better with the character and with Nino's style. 'Why was it you?' adkjf;ldjf Niiiiiiiino!

...I'm beginning to suspect that everybody knows that I'll roll over for any sort of contest. I didn't even really notice the prize thing until I was telling Anat about how my kids could write their own filthy porn if they wanted an uchiwa.

(I want to see Yatterman almost as much as I want to see Sho. It's the sort of movie I love AND it has Sho in it. ;____; And I KNOW I won't get to see it on the big screen and that I'll have to live forever with knowing that stupid SPEED RACER was in theaters. America sucks.)

I have stumbled into your blog from ... somewhere... Probably comments on fivesomeaday.

Anyway, this post caught my attention because of Sho. It looks like they're screening Yatterman at ComicCon that day, but Sho isn't listed anywhere on the website as being in attendance.
The sad thing is that I was totally trying to convince myself I could afford to fly two thousand miles to see him if he was there. >.> Oh, Arashi, look what you do to me.

About the con: I spent a long time hoping it wasn't true, too. Stupid con website, giving me hope! ;___; I seriously want to pull my kids out of school and fly to New York but it's totally impossible. Sho AND Yatterman. The world is cruel to us, I tell you.

I have this tendency to sneak into peoples blogs randomly because I wander around the Arashi fandom in odd directions. >.>

I don't even have the excuse of children... just work and impossible financing. ;_; Yatterman /before/ the Japanese release date no less! Why can't they be considerate and go to /several/ major cities when they bring Arashi members to the states. It's not like it happens often.

(^_^ My icon makes me happy too. I use it more than I should for that reason.)
