Oh my good lord, the first time I ever saw them perform this song it was in a live show which was showcasing JE hits of that year. The hand gestures that went along with the chorus nearly killed me. Quoth me to my room-mate: 'Do you think they realize that those overtly sexual gestures make them look like tiny little boy whores?' The official PV featuring said tiny boys lounging around in seedy motel rooms only served to convince me that they're doing this on purpose.

If you think "Mayonaka no Shadowboy" is dirty, you should listen to "Your Seed". In addition to the romance novel implications of the word "seed" three things happen in my brain:
1. I hear them sound hot and feel dirty because I am twice the age of the younger members.
2. The HSJ! boys get confused about the English phrase "You can get it on" and accidentally sing along with exhortations to follow your own path in life. (Umm. . .Hey Say JUMP? "You can get it on has certain connotations in most English-speaking lands. Sexual connotations. Also, do you know that being inspirational and sounding hot don't generally go together unless you are more accomplished idols? cf. Sho's rap in just about any song he released since TIME.)
3. Chinen Yuri sings soprano in the second half of the song and my world chatters into a million pieces when I realize that I am still listening to an HSJ! song and I am totally going to hell.

Please listen to it. If you're going to hell anyway, you may as well decorate your hand-basket with chibi idols.

lol I don't really listen to HSJ because the youngest one is roughly the same age as my oldest daughter. I like Shadow Boy but I only found it because Akiko was laughing about the video and the dancing. It's a good song and I know I liked their first one but I don't think I could follow a band of infants. orz

I agree, I couldn't follow them either. I only have about three of their songs because someone gave them to me in a bundle of other JE stuff. Listening to them is a little weird with them being so little. I think the extent of my HSJ fandom is reading about Chinen Yuri as a side character in Arashi fic and very occasionally (read, 'that one time') recognizing one of them in a drama. But really, there are so many it's hard to keep them straight so I don't really bother.

My time is much better spent trying desperately to keep up with the plethora of work put out by my one true fandom (Arashi-how do they find time for anything but work?) and reading awesome fanfic about them. (Thanks for that, by the way <3 <3)
