ciirceeSkyla's mom is dead. It's a long story but we don't know what killed her (there are going to be tests of some sort and that will take several weeks to several months) but I do know that Skyla was the very last person (aside from me and Ed) to find out.
I can handhold a kid through divorce and custody battles just fine--I've done both before. I can help a kid tell their parents that they cut themselves and I can give all of them the sex talk and tell them that I will help them with condoms/birth control if they let me know (leaving me a note is acceptable). But I've never had to do this before. I don't want to fail this kid.
I don't know what to do so I guess I'll just do my best.
