ETA:

I won't be around much for the next week or so. Part of it is that my son was diagnosed as ADD/ADHD so he's in therapy with two different doctors (one who talks to me about how to help him cope and do his work and the other to give him meds). It takes forty-five minutes--one way--to get to their offices, so that eats up some time. And so far I haven't been able to get him his appointments on the same days.

The other thing is that one of our cats is having 'acute renal...issues, I won't say failure YET'. So I am learning to give him fluids subcutaneously. Yeah. Twice a day I get to stick him with a needle attached to a ringer solution. I also have to feed him half a tums twice a day. Thank god for my sister--Ed and the kids took one look at the needle and shot out of the room so fast my head spun. Today was the first day of fluids so I've only done it once so far and, so far, Bitey (his name dates back to his feral-kittenhood) has taken it pretty well.

So, between work and the kid and the cat (plus the house and the husband and the yard and the other kids) my time is kind of spoken for for the next little while.

Long story short? ILUGUYS but I'm going to be scare on the ground for a while until I get adjusted to the new additions to the routine.
