Best. Husband. Ever.

My alarm failed to go off this morning so I was almost late for work. NOT ONLY did he take care of all my stupid Facebook games for me but he ALSO called me at work to tell me that Arashi was safe.
I got home to find an e-mail that said not to worry, my friends were safe too.

Date: 2011-03-11 11:04 pm (UTC)I'm glad your friends are safe! The few people I know in Japan are too, thankfully. (And Arashi!) I just hope that their friends/families/etc are safe, too. And... I know this is a weird thought, but I hope their pets are alright, too. :( It's likely that a lot of animals died in the floods already - especially lifestock like cows and pigs, which have no way of getting out of their enclosures or pens, but cats and dogs too, as well as zoo animals - and knowing just how much some of my friends (and the members of Arashi, especially Aiba!) love animals, I hope that their own pets at least are safe.

Date: 2011-03-12 04:07 am (UTC)I'm so glad that the internet I love--and that matters to those who matter to me--are all right. Small miracles are much appreciated.
And I don't find it weird at all. When I heard about the aftershock in Chiba my first thought was for Aiba's family and their small zoo of pets. When New Orleans flooded here I know that there were some relief efforts made for the pets in the city so I hope that Japan has something simliar going on, even if it's just a tiny bit. When you lose so much, sometimes it's the small, fuzzy, cuddly things that keep you going.
