Random drabble and stuff from my kids!

So Ed took the kids to see KungFu Panda 2 yesterday. Today Faith and Allie (nearly 16 and 13) were telling me about it.

Faith: Baby Po was in the raddishes! His mom died!

Allie: And then there was a baby noise and I didn't know what to do so I panicked and then I cried!

Faith: I just cried because it was sad.

My children, everybody.



That's how it's done

Nino is standing in the middle of the park with his head tipped back to the sky, the sun tangled up gold in his hair. When Ohno approaches him, Nino simply points up. Ohno wraps himself around Nino so that he's as close to where Nino is standing as possible and he looks up: framed perfectly by the blue is a pair of cherry blossoms, the last two on the tree already in full leaf. Nino turns his head and smiles, obviously pleased. Ohno has the thought that Nino is often simply, randomly beautiful in this way.

Oh, thinks Ohno

—this is how he falls in love.

Mostly, I love the entire image. The bright summer sun and the blue sky and the air and just... All of it. You did an excellent job of painting the scene in only a paragraph! ♥
