ciircee[Error: unknown template qotd]I'm hoping that my friends will use my body to distract the zombies so that they can escape from wherever it is that the zombies boxed us in. Feel free to turn me into bite-sized chunks and lay out a fake trail to lead them off, you guys!

Also, while watching GnA 34, I noticed that during Aiba's egg experiment, there is actually a shot where you can see the back and Arashi has a picture of Higashiyama hung there. djsdhajdha OMG WHY IS THERE NOT MORE HIGASHIYAMA-ARASHI INTERACTION!?)

Date: 2009-01-31 09:10 pm (UTC)Everybody loves Arashi because they are DORKS. On one hand, this makes us lucky: We can put Arashi members with almost ANYBODY and have awesome. On the other hand, we are unlucky: Johnny doesn't love us enough to give us our dreams.

Date: 2009-01-31 09:15 pm (UTC)I honestly don't know if it's because Arashi is the Johnnys fandom I'm most involved in but it seems to me that Arashi seems to get along with the other bands the most. Like, with other groups, you don't really hear much senpai-kouhai interaction. KAT-TUN and NEWS and Eito interact well with each other but you don't really hear much about them interacting with TOKIO or V6. And maybe it's just me, or it may be the fact that Arashi is smack dab in the middle in terms of seniority, but Arashi seem to be everywhere. Again, this could just be me.

Nagase was going to give him the death-glare and they were going to go back Nino-looks-sad-we're-going-to-mock-him-not-love-him television. Damn.

I am weak.A day and a half into having Nino in TOKIO--roughly a day after they'd discovered that patting him on the ass made him squeak like a little mouse--Nagase realized that they might be on the verge of being stuck with Ninomiya for more than a week or two. Matsuoka had done one of the itiot lines for the show and Taichi had been the one in the most compromising position in their photoshoot.
"We should talk to Arashi and see how they kept him in check," he said to Joshima.
Joshima nodded thoughtfully. "You go; I'll keep Nino occupied."
"You're treating him to lunch, aren't you?" Nagase asked.
"At least I'm not the one who promised him a guitar," said Joshima.
Nagase tracked down Sho and Jun, figuring them to be the two mostly likely to be useful. He had the Gakkou Max crew call out Aiba and Ohno (Nagano owed him one) and slipped into their green room.
"Nino?" Sho asked eagerly, standing up. Nagase wasn't very happy to note that Jun had also risen to his feet.
"No," said Nagase, watching as they both wilted back into their seats. "But it's about him," he added.
"Really?" said Sho, sounding hopeful.
"Are you giv--sending him back?" Jun asked coolly.
Nagase wanted to put his face in his hands. "Well," he said slowly, "he's really cute. He's sort of irresistable."
"Oh," said Jun.
Sho smiled and Nagase was sharply reminded Mimura Takuya. "It's hard not to cuddle him and baby him, isn't it?"
Jun looked over at Sho and shared a smile. "He's such a brat," he said fondly. "It makes you want to wring his neck."
Nagase looked between them with mounting disbelief. "You guys miss him, don't you? After two days, you miss him."
That seemed to snap them both out of it. "Not at all," said Jun indignantly.
"He's a brat, like Jun said," added Sho.
"Hey guys..." said Nino, breezing into the room. He stopped when he saw Nagase. "Ah, one of my favorite band members!" he chirped after a moment, throwing a sunny smile at him. "What are you doing here, Tomo-kun?"
Nagase reminded himself that he didn't really want to give Nino a guitar as long as Nino was a member of TOKIO. "Oh, just stopped by to chat with some of my favorite kouhai," he said, slinging an arm around Jun's neck and one around Sho's waist. "I was telling them about how much we love having you."
It was a gamble but it seemed to pay off. Nino faltered, just a little. "Are they jealous?" he asked, poking Sho in the side.
"Not at all!" Nagase said shrewdly. "I even asked if they missed you and they totally don't." He pursed his lips. "Aiba and Ohno didn't even ask about you before they left."
"...eh?" said Nino.
You don't want to pet him and fix things for him, Nagase told himself.
"Uh," said Jun.
Nagase brought his arm up, subtly cutting off Jun's air supply. For good measure, he tightened his arm around Sho, too. "I'm really glad. Joshima sent me here to see if we could keep you permanently instead of having you on loan."
"No--" said Sho. Nagase put his chin down on top of Sho's head. Forcefully. When Sho looked up he gave him a Look. "No problem," said Sho. "That's what we were just saying. It's no problem. Nobody has a problem with that."
"...oh," said Nino.
Nagase let go of Arashi and hugged Nino. "Isn't this great?" he said. "Let's go find the rest of our band and celebrate." Before Nino could say a word Nagase picked him up and put him over his shoulder. He put on hand firmly on the cheek next to his cheek and resolutely ignored the way Nino's breathing trembled. It was for his own good.

Date: 2009-01-31 11:39 pm (UTC)Though...when he makes his lame excuse to TOKIO so that he can slip back to the Arashi greenroom and beg to be taken back, everybody takes a moment to goodybye grope him. Since it's sort of obivous that Nino is going to go bcak to his co-dependant bandmates, I mean.
