It's certainly true you have to sift through a lot of... questionable material to find anything decent these days! Seems I can't be pried away from Ohmiya in fandom though, which is why I go direct to my favourite authors' journals to get my fix (and here I am XD).

Ohmiya, I can't quit you! XD I know the feeling. I love them despite the fandom. It's like JunToshi--so much bad to get through before you find the good! I just wish there was less sorting. Alas.
